AIM AND OBJECTIVE OF THE SCHOOL
Vincollins College aims to offer a challenging and balanced education which will prepare its students for adult responsibility in the modern world, we aim for a high level of academic achievement with a curriculum, which is broad based.
a. The school shall provide educational facilities for sound qualitative and basic education.
b. This sound qualitative and basic education shall be geared toward preparing students for examinations to higher institution and preparing students for Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) as well as West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
c. Preparation of students for useful living within the society through purposeful academic pursuit
d. The school shall provide facilities for sound academic moral, social, cultural and physical education
e. The school shall prepare the students specially for the following examination.
(i) Basic Education Examination Certificate (BECE)
(ii) Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE)
(iii) West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
(iv) Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination
(v) National Examination Council (NECO)
f. The school shall be multi- cultural, multi-racial and non-discriminating on religious and tribal basis and shall adhere strictly to educational rules and principles.
g. The school aims at instilling discipline in the youth to make them law- abiding and useful citizens in the future.
CURRICULUM
The school aims to offer a challenging and balanced education which will prepare its students for adult responsibility in the modern world. With this in mind, we shall be keeping our curriculum continuously under review and endeavouring to incorporate new ideas and new developments without disregard traditional values.
ACADEMICS
Vincollins College like all other secondary school in the states runs both the junior college and senior college systems. Each system ends with the students sitting for BECE, and external examination conducted by the Lagos State Examination Board and WASSCE, conducted by West African Examinations Council.
THE JUNIOR COLLEGE SYSTEM
The following subjects are offered in the junior college cadre, Mathematics, English Language, Civic Education, Basic Science, Basic Technology, Yoruba, Computer, History, Social studies, Agricultural Science, Home Economics, Business Studies, French, Cultural and Creative Arts, Physical Education, Security Education, Igbo.
THE SENIOR COLLEGE SYSTEM
The following subjects are offered in the senior college cadre, English Language, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Civic Education, Data Processing, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Government, Book-keeping, Geography, Home Economics, Computer, Biology, Commerce, History, Physical Education, Agriculture, Technical Drawings, Christian Religious Studies/ Islamic Studies, Yoruba, Igbo, English Literature, Food and Nutrition, Clothing and Textiles, Financial Accounting.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The student must be an active member of at least one of the following societies that exist in the school.

SCHOOL SESSIONS
The college opens at 7.15am and all students must be in school on or before 7:30am. Sessions begins at 8.00am and ends at 4.00pm.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Students are to be in the school’s appropriate uniform which is available for sale in the school. Only the school branded uniforms are acceptable. Slippers or any assorted shoes found with any student will be seized until the end of the session before it will be released. This also applies to the use of Cardigans different from the school cardigans.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
PUNCTUALITY
a. Every student shall be at the school by 7.15am prompt
d. Students are to attend classes at appropriate times as guided by the Timetable.
SCHOOL BELL
The school bell may be ranged for the following:
a. Morning assembly
b. Starts and end of lesson
c. Emergency information
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Student are to be in the school’s appropriate uniform which is available for sale in the school. NEATNESS
The school compound must be kept tidy at all times. No littering of papers or any dirt on the school compound. Severe punishment awaits any defaulter. All students are to keep their hair clean. Boys are to maintain low cuts, while girls are to plait, Weave or maintain low cuts.
MID DAY MEAL
Students are encouraged to bring their food from home. But where they are unable to do so the students can purchase snacks, drinks and water from the school mini shop.
No food should be eaten in the classroom during lesson periods. All food should be eaten during break only.
